The idea of this group is to create as a place to bring together people who are using creativity to support there mental wellbeing.

I have always crafted but recently I have started to craft to help with the symptoms of my mental health.

I am a new mum and with that came new challenges especially for my mental health.

I hope to bring together all those who craft for wellbeing in a friendly space virtually or in person.

I am not a therapist and don't claim to be. But I do have a qualification in arts for health and wellbeing.

I strongly believe all the arts can be beneficial to our mental wellbeing. Whether they are being used for release, expression, distraction, grounding or more. But more importantly than qualifications and beliefs, I am just someone who's currently struggling with my mental health and I am using crafting to help me live through my mental health journey.

Here we consider all creative tasks to be craft so you may say your not creative, but you bake, garden, decorate, dance, or write, all of these and more are welcome here.
